Company`s Summary

ThunderPort Inc.

Big Picture Idea: Cloud storage cost reduction by a factor of 10x vs. current approaches.

  1. Decentralized Cloud Storage Solution, ideal for emerging OTA(EV), IoT, Smart Appliance markets.
  2. Decentralized Private, Secure, Encrypted, Internet Communication, coupled with Free Cloud Storage for internet users.

Allows for new applications, such as Smart Contracts 2.0 or Web 4.0. Online Voting, Industry 4.0, etc. to evolve. User Account Associated Data allows for other means of monetization.

a. First Bootstrap program focusing on DRM and stopping Video Piracy. We have developed favorable contacts with Hollywood people.

b. Second Bootstrap program focusing on Banks and securing on-line access into user’s accounts.

Bootstrap a) and b) allow for the company to be in revenue and possibly profit, before undertaking 1) and 2), which is the ‘big picture’.

Three patents: First Issued, Second Filed, Third in Review. Demo almost complete for a).

Delaware Inc., incorporated 2021.

TAM: for Bootstrap programs: $300M, for Decentralized Storage: $300B.

No competition. This is not alike web3. We have had deep technical discussions with the crypto developers, and they agree that ‘this is the better mouse trap for almost all applications that they could be pursuing in web3″.

Network operates at 10M to 100M TPS, 1,000x faster than 10k to 100k server or blockchain solutions.

Technology allows for new verticals, e.g., spin-offs that leverage the technology in application specific markets, e.g., Real Estate Market Automation.

Network capacity: 10B users, 100T objects, infinite number of properties. Can be scaled up.

About the speaker

Henry is a 30-year EDA veteran, with a strong background in HW, SW, Systems design. He has been architect and developer, as well as executive and CEO in both startups and public companies. Henry combines strong technical, marketing, sales, and executive skills.

Two major areas to highlight:

Architect and implementor of major industry product successes such as Quickturn Systems’ Palladium, Xilinx Virtex Series, Cadence Edge P&R, Synaptics’ IC Testing methodologies.

Major industry marketing successes such as revamping VCS and Motive, which led to Synopsys acquiring Viewlogic, and XACT 4.0, which led to Xilinx acquiring NeoCad.

The idea for ThunderPort came to Henry in two parts: the first part in 2008, when he worked with another startup team on a novel internet technology, similar to (but way ahead of) WhatsApp. A China-government grant eventually steered the team into another direction.

The second part was in 2019, when Bob, co-founder, and I were probing into the emerging crypto markets and were looking for a competitive angle.

Henry is a natural leader and has a strong ability to understand and translate communications between cross-functional teams, have teams think outside the box to find solutions, and achieve buy-in and success with any team, outward or inward focusing.
